The Nokian Tyres zLine A/S is a high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Nokian Tyres offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.

The tire offers excellent high speed controllability. The stabilized tread design and the optimal siping detail of the Cooling Edge technology maintain the tire's road contact at all times, which upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability greatly. The constant road contact enhances the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The stable shoulder tread blocks and the siping detail increase the number of biting edges firmly gripping the road surface during high speed cornering and maneuvering, guaranteeing a secure performance throughout the year. The Cooling Edge technology also manages to prevent heat build-up on the tread surface, which enables the tire to perform to its best high speed capability with ease.

The model promotes great all weather performance. The silica-infused tire compound and the asymmetric tread design improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The silica compound keeps its flexible traction all year round, while the tread elements with the optimal siping detail firmly grip the road surface in all weather. The siping detail heightens the number of biting edges gripping the road surface in wet and winter weather, further boosting the driving safety. The tread's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The better hydroplaning resistance and exceptional all weather performance ensure a secure year round driving experience.

The tread design and the extra rubber layer under the tread area provide a quiet and comfortable performance. The asymmetric tread design with the optimal siping detail features a variable pitch sequence that negates the road noise levels heard while the tires are in motion. The pitch sequence creates a sound frequency that cancels out the road and tread pattern noise the moment they are generated. The special Comfort Base Compound places an additional layer of rubber compound under the tread, which absorbs the shock of driving. This compound swallows up the road vibrations produced during the drive. The reduced noise and vibration levels upgrade the driving comfort levels, guaranteeing an enjoyable drive.

The zLine A/S provides a fuel-efficient drive and a lengthened tread life. The silica-based Dynamic Traction Boost compound manages to reduce the tire's rolling resistance. The model's rolling resistance determines the vehicle's fuel consumption levels. The decreased rolling resistance lowers the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions significantly, ensuring a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience. This also slows the tread wear rate down, as it eases the driving pressure off the tire. The tread's center rib features the Driving safety Indicators that visually represent the tire's tread life. The indicator places percentages on the center rib that wear out with the tread life and show how much percent is left of the model's tread life.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
