This is a stunning and unusual original antique (late 19th century) solid oak four tier music shelf featuring slatted shelves, highly detailed and elegant turned spindle sides, bentwood lyre and spindle back panel, and original finials throughout. This is a very high quality handmade piece of Victorian furniture.

Condition is excellent. There are two spindles missing along the bottom half and one along the top half of one of the sides, but the entire unit is otherwise complete. The missing spindles are not very obvious but are noticeable upon inspection. There is very little wear otherwise and the finish looks excellent with no stains or marks anywhere. There are a couple tight surface cracks on one leg where the screws go through, but no deep cracks and the entire piece is sturdy, solid, and fully functional.

The shelf measures 19" W x 14" deep x 39" H. It will be disassembled for shipping, and all pieces will be labeled for easy reassembly. All pieces will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping. Please provide a street address for shipping as this will not be delivered to a PO Box. Advertised shipping cost covers shipping within the lower 48 states only. Please ask for a shipping quote to AK, HI, or Puerto Rico.
