FR shape hollow body with side ports (w/fan bracing)
Based on the single-cut Ibanez original FR shape, this hollow body is approximately 50mm thick with fan bracing on the top (front face), which is common on classical guitars.
There is no sound hole on the front side of the body, but there is a sound port on the player side of the body. This design allows the player to experience the natural nylon sound with a comfort that is not significantly different from that of an electric guitar.
- 46mm wide nut / 400mm R fingerboard
The width of the nut is between that of a standard classical guitar and an electric guitar, and the fingerboard has a 400mm radius. The specifications are designed with electric guitar players in mind, and are distinctly different from classical guitars in order to achieve smooth fingering.
The string height is a little lower than that of a classical guitar (compared to a standard classical guitar), which is even more comfortable than a buzzing sound, as it opens up a new category of nylon electric guitars.
