This beautiful carved bamboo brush pot was made in the People's Republic of China by Shanghai Handicrafts. The number on the label is 79YB-8, possibly a stock number. It is decorated with two cranes and a ginkgo tree and the carving is beautiful with no rough edges.Whoever created this took time and care. It is painted with clear lacquer and looks to be in perfect condition. Dimensions are 6.75 in tall and 3.75 in wide.
