Here is a vintage Kutani porcelain button, circa 1950-1960s. It depicts bambook. Lovely gold highlights. Typical self shank. It measures 11/16" in diameter: NBS size small. It is in excellent condition; in one of the photos it looks like it may be chipped, but that is actually a stray dab of gold paint, original to the button. A wonderful collectible button with useful subject matter!
