Altberg Desert Tabbing Boot MK3 MoD Brown - John Bull Clothing

Product Description

This boot was developed in 2009 as a more robust running/tabbing version of the legendary Desert Microlite. The last (footshape) upon which it is made is the AForme (men’s), which uses running shoe dynamics and technology making this desert Tabbing boot at home in the sand

The leg of the Desert Tabbing boot is lower to enhance mobility when running on desert slab or rough terrain. Underneath the foot the sole gives good torsional stability and shock absorption, and the breathability of the boot is excellent - the suede and Cambrelle lining combination allows air circulation and fast drying.

SF = No hooks - will be introduced during the period December 2022 to May 2023

• Upper: 2.0mm full grain suede, European sourced, combined with breathable Cordura military grade fabric
• Lining: Cambrelle ultra breathable, non-waterproof membrane (forefoot is lined with spacer and mesh zero moisture retention
• Midsole: Tri-Flex 2-3 season, a combination of medium flex and torsional resistance, suitable for tabbing as well as rough terrain, excellent support of ankle and heel
• Sole: Defender Hi-Traction Sole - excellent up-hill traction and downhill braking. Slip Resistance: highest level SRC
• Weight: 640g (size 9)

Size and Fitting Advice
Here at John Bulls we’d recommend you choosing a 1/2 size above your normal shoe size as this allows for a thicker sock to be used with the Desert tabbing boot

PLEASE NOTE: Altberg started introducing their new Defender Hi-Traction Sole onto their boots in June 2022 with an aim to replace all Vibram soles by February 2023. Practically all our boots now have the new Defender sole and sadly we can no longer order them with the older Vibram versions - These Defender soles are a far better sole in our opinion and the valuable feedback we're getting back from our customers

1. PRICES AND TERMS OF PAYMENT

1.1 John Bull Military Clothing Limited reserves the right to change or withdraw prices for the products or services it offers for sale without prior notice. If John Bull Military Clothing's price for any product or service is increased, the price in effect prior to the increase will apply to orders received prior to the effective date of the increase and shipped within a period of 30 days after the effective date of increase.

1.2 Prices are in Sterling Pounds unless otherwise specified.

1.3 Unless otherwise specified by John Bull Military Clothing Limited in writing, all taxes and other charges imposed by federal, state, local, or foreign governments on the manufacture, sale, shipment, import, export, or use of the products or services shall be added to the price and billed to and paid by Buyer. Buyer shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless John Bull Military Clothing Limited from and against all liabilities for such taxes or charges and attorneys' fees or costs incurred by John Bull Military Clothing Limited in connection therewith.

1.4 Prices on this web site may be cheaper than prices offered over our mail order service or our shop prices. Please don't be disappointed is quoted a different price over the phone.

2. DELIVERY

John Bull Military Clothing Limited shall have the right to make deliveries or perform services in installments. Partial shipments or performance will be billed as made and payments therefor are subject to the terms of payment referenced herein. All delivery indications or completion dates are estimated and are dependent in part upon prompt receipt of all necessary information to service an order. John Bull Military Clothing Limited reserves the right to allocate, in its sole discretion, inventories, production, and services when such allocation becomes necessary. In no event will John Bull Military Clothing Limited be liable for any premium transportation, re-procurement, or other costs or losses incurred by Buyer as a result of John Bull Military Clothing's failure to deliver products in accordance with indicated delivery/performance schedules. John Bull Military Clothing Limited does not accept any responsibility and will not make any form of reimbursement when an incorrect postal address is provided, resulting in the loss and or non delivery of an item.

3. INSPECTION OF PRODUCTS

Products shall be inspected by Buyer upon delivery and services, upon performance. Notice of rejection or claim for shortages, damaged product, or other nonconformity must be submitted by Buyer to John Bull Military Clothing Limited in writing within 30 days of shipment or performance, and must specify the particular respects in which the delivery, products, or services, as applicable, are nonconforming. Buyer shall have no right to exercise any remedial rights until notice of nonconformity has been given to John Bull Military Clothing Limited and John Bull Military Clothing Limited afforded a reasonable opportunity to cure such nonconformity, if appropriate.

4. RETURNS

Requests for the return of products because of "ordered in error" or "cancellation" (after shipment has been made) must be made within 30 days of shipment. Postage costs are not refunded.

5. ENGLISH EXPORT LAWS

5.1 John Bull Military Clothing's obligations are subject to the export administration and control laws and regulations of England. Buyer shall comply fully with such laws and regulations in the export, resale, or disposition of products.

5.2 Quotations or proposals made, and any orders accepted by John Bull Military Clothing Limited from a Buyer outside the English are with the understanding that the ultimate destination of the products is the country indicated therein. Diversion of the products to any other destination contrary to English law is prohibited. Accordingly, if the foregoing understanding is incorrect, or if Buyer intends to divert the products to any other destination, Buyer shall immediately inform John Bull Military Clothing Limited of the correct ultimate destination.

6. CONFIRMING AVAILABLITY & PRICE

Availability information for the titles in our catalogue is listed on each item's detail page. Beyond what we say on that page, we cannot be more specific about availability. As we process your order, we will inform you by e-mail if any items you order turn out to be unavailable.
