K. Nishijima Nio Horyuji Temple Japanese Woodblock Print.

I am not certain if this print is made by contemporary Japanese woodblock artist Katsuyuki Nishijima. The pencil description on the front cover of the white matte is probably by a collector since it doesn’t match Nishijima’s handwriting on his signed prints.

The red stamp is similar to Nishijima’s but not exactly the same. A buyer more familiar with Nishijima’s work can decide for themselves if this is a Katsuyuki Nishijima woodblock print.

I have included two pictures of the red stamp. The first is from an authentic Katsuyuki Nishijima print. The second is from this print. Check pics to judge stamp for yourself.

I have listed this print simply as a “K. Nishijima” print as identified on the matte front cover. It could be a different Nishijima. The print on its own merits is a visually appealing piece of artwork and is being sold as is.
