This is the final revision of the auto chain tensioner so it has the thicker body, the build in offset so you don't need those fkn washers to space it, the better wear pad and the smaller teeth so the ratcheting isn't as severe as the initial design.  I know these have a bad rap, but you gotta take that with a grain of salt.  There's a lot of total losers out there who don't know simple physics and will tell you that the piece of shit Hayden is better than this.  Anyone who has ever held a Hayden M6 in their hands knows that company is full of shit!   What's remarkable is they've convinced people that that spring loaded mess is actually a good thing.  The construction is rubbish, it's just a piss poor design that looks like it was the result of inbreds with a mill and a bottle of moonshine. 

If you are not out there dumping the clutch, or running a solid comp on an S&S 124 then this tensioner will work just fine and you'll never have to fck with it again.  There's a lot of these on the road with 100k plus on them I promise.
