From doll maker and costumer Mary Lambeth's estate.
Mary collected bits and pieces to use for her authentic doll costumes and reproduction dolls.
Her pieces are old and many antique, with stains, tears, missing sections of lace, etc.
This appears to have been a Christening gown. There are some stains, see photos. The cotton is dingy.
There is one tear, center front in the lace. There is another tear in the lace on one wrist.
The lace on wrists also has narrow ribbon that ties to tighten and release the wrist.
This is handmade.
