Today, I have up for auction a Montblanc classic, the classic ballpoint pen in the solitaire doue design (I am pretty sure it is model 164, but I cannot remember for sure), which is a black resin barrel, with a 925 sterling silver with gold trim cap. This is from the Metals 2 collection. If you know MB pens, you know this one.
- Germany, Metals 2, with serial number on the clip ring (serial number is XK107474)
- Comes with a working refill, but I am not sure how long the refill will last.
- I have never used this pen, it has been in my display case since I bought it a long time ago. Was it used previously, I do not know, but it looks great.
- The mechanism works nice and smooth.
- No cracks.
- Comes with authentic Montblanc box with unsigned papers.
- There are micro scratches on the cap, which you can see in the pics. Those are high resolution pics, you cannot see those scratches with the naked eye. I am guessing if you had the cap professionally cleaned and polished, these scratches can probably be removed. The pen has tons of eye appeal.
This is just a great pen.
I have the matching fountain pen up for sale as well.
I was a Montblanc pen collector for many years, at my peak, I probably had over 45 pens including many limited editions, but over the years I have been slowly selling them to pay for other hobbies. I guarantee the authenticity of this pen.
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY FAKE MONTBLANC PENS. STERLING SILVER MB PENS DO NOT SELL FOR $150.
I will ship the pen via USPS Priority Mail.
If you have any questions, let me know.
Thanks for looking,
MontMozart
