This had to be a very special Imari bowl being from the mid to late 19th C to have been restored by a master porcelain repair person of the era. This beautiful fluted Imari bowl measures 9 1/2 in. in diameter, 4 in. tall and 3 in. deep. The restoration was completed with the JuCi method of using bronze staples and varnish glue. The process in itself was rare and expensive for the time. The Japanese treasure both perfection as well as imperfection. This is a rare and perfect example of the finished process and product. The beauty is captured in the restored piece.

It is being sold as is with no returns.
