Pair of Georgian Silver Serving Spoons
London, 1826

A fine pair of large Georgian serving spoons. They are in the popular 'Fiddle, Thread & Shell' pattern with wide fiddle shape handles and decorative shell motifs. They are well made from heavy gauge silver, weighing approximately 193g in total.

Each spoon measures approximately 9" (23cm) long and the bowl is 2" (5cm) wide x 3 1/4" (8cm) long.

The spoons are each fully hallmarked for London, 1826 and the maker Jonathan Hayne.

They are in excellent condition with clear hallmarks. There are no major damages and they display beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and a few minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
