The headset can connect into radios, and be used for sound pickup. it cuts off loud sounds such as airsoft grenades going off or other loud bangs. it can pick up footsteps from a little ways away. its super useful for milsim games and field games. You can hear people talking and moving clearly but whenever a big bang or other super loud sounds will be cut off. the helmet is a good weight and the arms holding the headset are individually articulate
