Beautiful antique oak teacher desk made by E. N Mason/Arclight of Colchester. I believe my parents bought this desk in the 1960's and its very solid and well made.

It's made of solid wood with some oak veneer I believe. There are a few knocks and scrapes as to be expected with a desk that has been well used over the last 50 to 60 years (I have tried to show these in the photos).

The desks stands at 77 cm high, 76 cm deep and 137 cm wide.

The desk comprises of 3 drawers in total - 2 on the LHS and then a single double depth one on the RHS. Above the desks there are pull out shelves to provide additional working areas. The top drawer on the LHS is lockable (unfortunately I do not have a key so the lock will need to be replaced). There are also some ink stains in the drawers themselves as per the photos.

There is a bit of sagging in the middle of the desk such that it drops about 2 cm overall in the centre and overall the desk could do with a good sand down and varnish to get it back to its former glory. Unfortunately we simply don't have the space to keep the desk any longer so reluctantly selling and I had intended on sanding & varnishing it myself before selling but have run out of time).

Owing to it's size and weight this is collection only from Archway N19 (North London).
