*Stiff, oversized Studio Covers - Script has hand-stamped "433" Production Number on Cover with a hand-stamped "127" script distribution number at bottom right.  First page of this Fox File piece is a hand-stamped "127" check-out page - Square release form has been used and cut away from page. Top left of last page reverse has pencil signature sign-off from Fox Story Files. Don't miss this terrific, old-school, Old-Hollywood Musical script!

*Screenplay is 103 White Pages with 1 Blue Revision Page - Script is noted as 2nd Revised Shooting Final and dated March 28, 1952 - Written by the great Sy Gomberg based on Damon Runyon's classic short story.

*CONDITION: See Photos. Script is in overall Very Good to Fine Condition. As with many oversized covers, there is light wear and tear on covers - Interior is lovely and clean. You won't be disappointed in this classic beauty! 

*HISTORICAL INFORMATION: Bloodhounds of Broadway is a 1952 Technicolor musical film directed by Harmon Jones and based on a Damon Runyon story. It stars Mitzi Gaynor along with Scott Brady, Mitzi Green, Marguerite Chapman, Michael O'Shea, Wally Vernon, and George E. Stone. Charles Bronson appears, uncredited, as Charles Buchinski.

The film was remade in 1989, this time as a PBS American Playhouse special (subsequently given theatrical release) starring Matt Dillon and Madonna.

*STORYLINE: A calculating New York bookie hires a talented singer and dancer to entertain his nightclub. She brings her pet bloodhounds with her. This makes his girlfriend jealous, so she considers spilling the beans on his dealings to the feds.
