Antique English Spangled Cow Bone Love Lace Bobbin

This antique cow (bovine) bone* lace bobbin has red bands at each end with the sentiment "I LOVE TRUE" on the shank. Red dots run down the sides between the words. It was made by William "Bobbin" Brown (see pp. 41-45 of Christine & David Springett's Success to the Lace Pillow). It's in excellent condition with no cracks or chips and has a nice old patina. The spangle contains handmade glass beads and it measures 5 1/2" long.
