Description: This is a small (10-11.5") antique fringed society silk doily. There are four subtly colored flowers embroidered in silk around the periphery of the linen doily. The maker has added her monogram (GM) between two of the flowers. Please look at all of the photos, the last of which is a closeup of the linen fibers in the fabric center.

Condition: Excellent handmade antique condition. No holes or stains. The fringe is mostly intact, certainly varies in length around the periphery. It is amazing to me that it is complete as it is. Please take a close look at all of the pictures, the last of which is a closeup of the linen fibers in the fabric.
Size: 11.5 inches in diameter (including the fringe). The embroidered area of the cloth is 10 inches in diameter.
