Beautiful necklace featuring antique Georgian 9ct gold clasp
with newer 4 strands of fresh water pearls.
While the clasp lacks marking, it tests positively for 9ct gold,
both the clasp and the tongue.
The clasp features a locket compartment revealing what appears to be red silky fabric beneath the glass.
Necklace length: 51cm (20").
Weight 31 grams.
The pearls are approx 4mm long.
Very good condition, the stringing seems good,
the clasp works really well, it fastens with a good click.
