A vintage Hardy Matchmaker 13ft three piece fibreglass float & ledger fishing rod. Made in Alnwick, Great Britain. Hardy quality throughout. Full cork handle which is extremely clean, with sliding ring reel locks. Stand off guides throughout, of which the butt and tip guides are agate lined. The tip guide is threaded to accept a swing tip or quiver attachment. I don't believe this tip guide is original. I would also suggest the tip section is a fraction short of where it should be, less than an inch, so no noticeable effect on performance. Sections fit together nicely with no sloppiness. Overall, the rod is in excellent condition, as seen in the pictures. Just some minimal scuffs to the blank and a small chip out of the cork. The decals and makers initials (I/O) are complete and nice and clear. Yellow whippings are strong and vibrant. A great rod for stillwater float, river trotting, and ledgering. 

The rod will be packaged in a secure tube for courier delivery. Collection from GL54, CA11 or convenient pick up somewhere in between is also possible. Let me know where you are and we'll see what can be done.
