This is a beautiful example of an Art Deco Vase by Beswick number 1072
It was designed by Mr Symcox in 1933 and continued in production until 1940
Mr Symcox worked for Beswick between 1933 to 1942
He was freelance sculptor, who exhibited at the British Industry Fair of 1934
and this was the platform to develop the new satin Matt glazes by James Hayward of Beswick
The shape is classic and elegant its in a satin matt glaze with the predominant colour
of blue with a raised Palm tree on the front that is simply of the Art Deco period
Would look nice with your favourite flowers or just as nice as a decorative piece
The vase measures approx. 16 cm high x 8.5 cm at it's widest
The vase is in good vintage condition still very vibrant with no chips or cracks
There is some age related crazing as to be expected for it's age
