For sale is a used Mapex, Saturn Series snare drum. I acquired it second
hand, but I believe it dates from around 2004.
The batter and resonator
heads are like new. I also replaced the tension rods. There is some
pitting on the hardware, as seen in the photos.
From a 2004 Mapex catalog, the specs are:

■ 6-ply, 5.1mm all North American maple and walnut shell construction
■ eight coat, high-gloss, hand-rubbed lacquer finish
