Original vintage Metamec wall starburst sunburst clock. The clock is quite striking due to the size of the metal rays it measures 86cm in length and 50cm in height. The clock has an hour, minute and second hand and is battery-powered it keeps accurate time with its quartz movement, whilst the hands are original the battery movement has been replaced, I do have the original if you would like this to repair please ask if you want me to send this with your purchase.

The clock is crafted in metal, plastic and has a glass face.

The metal rays are varying length and have a brushed metal finish, there are small blemishes on the rays commensurate with the clocks age, please check the photos to ensure you are happy before bidding. The clock face is painted on plastic and as pictured, due to its age, this is coming away in some areas near the hands, please note this is not cracked and could be painted or restored. The fact that it isn’t perfect does add to the clocks vintage charm and appeal.

The clock belonged to my uncle and has proudly been on display for the last sixty years and is perfect for those who adore vintage and retro decor and will make an excellent addition to any collection.

You are welcome to collect in person from PR3 and if posted the clock will be disassembled to protect the metal rays from damage, these are easily reattach by screws as shown in the photos and are labelled in pencil to demonstrate where to match up to.
