Fabulous but effed!

This is so darn cute! A novelty dog print on a peach coral rayon. Smocked details on shoulders. Same on waist with gathered skirt. Button bodice. Side metal zipper. Flared skirt.

Flaws: color bleed. Some black bleed that has not been treated. It’s not terrible but the spot on the bodice is obvious and would need some work. One small separation at underarm seam. Last, the hem is coming down in back.

2. 40s Carlye Mint Rayon Thatch Print Day Dress

Fabulous but effed!

A lovely cold rayon in a mint green and cream. Has a thatch print. Tie neckline. Cap sleeves. Upper zip back neck. Wide waist. Gathered skirt. Side metal zipper. Flared skirt.

Flaws: some all over fade hear and there. Gives it an ombre effect. Tiny pinholes at upper back and one on shoulder. Some thinning areas. More small tiny holes along neckline. Even so, fabric is very sturdy and has give. More significant fade spot in skirt folds. Still presents as a lovely piece.

3. 30s Oxblood Red Crepe Peplum Deco Dress (most damaged)

Fabulous but effed!

A solid crinkled rayon gauze crepe. Faux mini hankie in the breast pocket. Peplum waist with tie in the back. Side snap closure. Straight skirt. Back hook and eye keyhole closure.

Flaws: from an estate as found and needs cleaning. Has a shoddy repair along the neckline. One hole in skirt. Underarm seam coming undone. But overall she is so darn cute and love the fabric.
