SISTEMA MIPS

 

MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) è un sistema antiscivolo all'interno del casco. È progettato per ruotare all'interno del casco e quindi rallentare o ridurre l'energia di impatto che agisce sul cervello, il che aiuta a ridurre le lesioni alla testa causate da impatti di rotazione.
Quando una testa gira rapidamente e si ferma improvvisamente, l'accelerazione rotazionale può causare alti livelli di tensione al tessuto cerebrale. Questo allungamento del tessuto causato da questi movimenti può provocare vari tipi di lesioni cerebrali. MIPS è progettato con l'intento di affrontare l'accelerazione rotazionale da impatto.

MIPS SYSTEM

MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is a non-slip system inside the helmet. It is designed to rotate inside the helmet and thus slow down or reduce the impact energy that acts on the brain, which helps to reduce head injuries caused by rotational impacts.
When a head turns quickly and stops suddenly, rotational acceleration can cause high levels of tension in the brain tissue. This stretch of tissue caused by these movements can cause various types of brain injury. MIPS is designed to address rotational impact acceleration.
