U.S. Coast Guard
USCGC GLACIER, Long Beach, California (W0692)

GLACIER broke ice for Antarctic Deep Freeze resupply and research for many years, both for the Navy, 1955-1966, then for the Coast Guard until 1987.  After decommissioning, efforts were made to convert her to a hospital or research vessel, but those efforts failed and she was scraped in 2012.

This patch dates to being in use in 1985.
It is a new, medium size 4" wide and 4" tall color patch.
It is computer sewn, 100% embroidered, with a blue merrowing, and an unsealed back.

Note in this variety the 'Follow Me' banner almost touches the cutter's smoke.  Other versions have the banner further away from the smoke and/or have heavier lettering and hilites.

Patches are shipped using the default Economy Shipping option (no action required of the buyer) with stamps
which does not provide a tracking number.

If you want tracking, change the shipping method during check-out to the USPS Ground Advantage shipping option or
USPS Priority Mail shipping option (a little faster).  These options cost more - for the tracking.
I do not offer overnight or non-USPS shipping.
