Vintage Collectable 1960s Scalextric Model Motor Racing Set See Description.

This vintage collectable scalextric model motor racing set, which was made by Minimodels LTD, Havant, Hants in England is a Tri-ang Product but the actual model number is missing from the sides of the box, therefore it can't be confirmed as to which set that it is. The lid states Grand Prix Series but this is not 100%, as the items inside the box do not necessarily correlate with this. 

Included in the set is: 

• The original box, which has signs of use with sellotaped corners, dints, scratches and general wear and tear. Inside, only the cars have a yellow carton packaging, everything else is loose. The back of the box shows signs of use, as does the inside. The instructions appear to be inside the lid. 
• The decorative flags, pit numbers and car numbers sheet, with car numbers that have been cut out and has general signs of use. 
• The official international signal and starting flags sheet, which has a red tick on it and general signs of use. 
• The optional extra scalextric roar! vinyl, which is a sound effects record. This comes in its original pouch and dust sleeve. There are some signs of age on the pouch and it can't be guaranteed that the vinyl still works. 
• A /248 Hump Back Bridge, which was purchased separately as an optional extra, and has signs of use where the track is placed. 
• A /212 Start/Finish Banner with stand to place the banner in, which was also an optional extra. There are also some scuffs on the banner and signs of use on the poles. 
• 5 track officials and pit crew unpainted, with three of them holding a form of item. 
• 4 green banking wedges. 
• A Shell Lubricating Oil specially recommended for scalextric model cars jar with cork and label, which is empty. 
• 1 used cleaning brush. 
• 4 white, used crash barriers. 
• Two (one black, one red) hand throttles in a used condition, 
• Two 1961 Lotus scalextric cars - one blue, with the number 3 on it, and one red, with the number 8 on it. They have general wear and tear. 
• An original pouch with 24 clips that are used to secure the track together and 2 longer pieces, possibly for securing the track. They are all in a used condition, 
• The scalextric miniature motor racing fourth edition booklet, which has some ripped edges, scuffed corners and is coming lose from the staples. The condition shows the item's age! 
• The starting grid track piece with the number 1 on it and some of the white is scuffed as well, which shows that it has been used. 
• 9 curved track pieces, numbered 2-10 on them, which show signs of use. 5 pieces have MM/T.21, 2 pieces have MM/T21 and 1 piece has MM/T.21 in a different style on the back. This may suggest that the set was added to over a period of time. 
• One straight piece of track, with some tiny signs of use. 
• Two PT/50 Adaptor pieces of track, that both show signs of use. 
• One PT/59 Straight "C" track piece, that shows signs of use. 
• One PT/60 track piece, that shows signs of use. 

The transformer is not included. 

This is being sold with no gaurentee that everything works, as without the transformer, it can't be tested. Therefore, there is a possibility that parts may not work.

Please note that each item is in a varying condition but the majority all shows signs of use. Therefore, please ensure that you look at the pictures. 

This item has been used, kept and stored in a smoke free and pet free home.
