PASTORES (1912)

She was built by Workman, Clark & Co. Belfast, Ireland in 1912. She was acquired by the U.S. Navy from United Fruit Co. on 1 May 1918 and commissioned on 6 May 1918.

She was a 12,650 long tons ship with length of 486.6' and beam of 55' and draft of 27.4'. Twin screws, reciprocating engines 15.5 knots.

Eared a BATTLE STAR in WW II after being commissioned as U.S.S. PASTORES (AF-16) 13 Feb. 1942. 

Sold for scrapping 19 Dec. 1946.
