This stunning Victorian piece contains an aneroid barometer, clock and thermometer. The carving is exceptional (see details in photos) and the barometer face has fine detail. It would make the perfect focal point.
It was sold by Benetfink & Co. - a large retail business located at 89-90 Cheapside, London, from c1845 to 1907. The firm described themselves as "furnishing ironmongers" and sold a huge range of metalware products for the home.
It is in very good condition but sadly the clock (which worked fine up until a few years back) has lost it’s winder and so needs some attention.
