Made by me in my Pennsylvania USA craft shop/lab. All Sterling silver except the lens, which I also made/ground/polished, from shards of a broken window pane. Threads swaged with hand made taps and dies. Typical magnification power is 100-150 X. Made with primative tools and techniques just a Leeuwenhoek would have made his. Most of Leeuwenhoek's microscopes were silver, but the silver ones were scrapped for the silver soon after his death. Most of the surviving originals are brass. Silver reproductions like this are very rare.
