The illustrations are gorgeous enlarged version of the art found in Beatrix Potter’s little books, complete with text - perfect for encouraging crib crowd literacy!
I am not sure of the exact classification of this cotton fabric but it’s similar to a light weight canvas, duck, or barkcloth. The fabric appears to be a perfect weight for dust ruffles, or items such as curtains, drapes, pillow tops, upholstery, and bags. Zoom in and take a look at the weave, and I am sure you’ll agree this fabric is a nice quality sturdy weight 100% cotton.
This is a beautifully constructed baby crib ruffle with evenly stitched seams and hems. For being over 45 years, this crib ruffle looks great — thanks to being totally forgotten about and being left carefully stored away from light and any unpleasantness most of its existence.
This crib ruffle is in lovely preowned condition, with no unfortunate discoloration or weird odors detected. Unseen by me, there may be small issues, possibly from use or from manufacturing so please be sure to look at all photos, zoom in and take a close up look.
