This is a very nice Pentax K1000 camera (# 7390726) with SMC Pentax M 50mm f2 lens (# 8199651), a Sears 135mm f2.8 tele lens (#831001983), front and rear lens caps, strap and canvas camera bag.   The Pentax K1000 is an interchangeable lens, 35 mm film, single-lens reflex (SLR) camera, manufactured from 1976 to 1997.  Its extraordinary longevity makes it a historically significant camera. The K1000's inexpensive simplicity was a great virtue and earned it an unrivaled popularity as a basic but sturdy workhorse. The Pentax K1000 eventually sold over three million units.  The K1000 uses interchangeable PK bayonet mount lenses, thousands of which are available new and used. This would be a great camera for a film photo class or as a back-up.

This camera is in excellent condition, clean inside and out.  All functions of the lens and camera including the light meter work as they should.  The shutter speeds progress and one second speed agrees with my digital Nikon D300.  The door light seals and mirror foam are fine.  The focus screen is clear and bright.  There are only 3-4 bright marks on the whole camera.  The leatherette shows no wear.  No wear on the film door.  The film compartment is clean.  Battery is included.

The lens optics on both lenses look clean, clear and unmarked when examined under strong back lighting.  The aperture blades are oil-free and the mechanics are good.  The lens exterior has no signs of use.  Aperture and focus rings turn smoothly.  The filter rings have no dents. Two filters, and front and rear lens caps, are included.
