This is vintage Seiko Grand Quartz with one of the finest movements ever produced: the 9943 high-accuracy quartz movement with "Twin Quartz" tech. This robust, serviceable, mostly metal movement features two quartz crystals to compensate for temperature variances, resulting in incredible accuracy: when new,
it was rated for +/- 10 seconds per year. That is a level of accuracy that only the finest modern quartz movements achieve, another reason why the King and Grand Quartz lines are seriously undervalued.
This particular Grand Quartz features a fantastic textured dial with raised silver indices and a beautifully textured case (which has some wear as expected given its age, including some scratches). It's an extremely elegant and timeless reference with a ton of wrist presence. Aftermarket Bambi sliding clasp bracelet is of a similar style to the OE bracelet, and adjusts easily to fit a wide variety of wrists. It is keeping good time but service history is unknown. Day wheel is in English and Japanese. Some light wear, as pictured.
