It is not an imitation of other headless models, nor is it simply a headless version of an existing design or shape. The EHB series is a new bass from Ibanez.
The EHB1005MSL is a headless 5-string multi-scale bass that is easy to carry and easy to play, and one of the few lefty models in the series.
The EHB1005MSL features an ergonomically designed EHB body that is perfectly balanced for both standing and seated players. The body is made of basswood and the neck is made of roasted maple.
The neck is made of a combination of heat-treated loaed maple and walnut, which provides shape stability, resistance to warping, water resistance, and resistance to temperature changes.
Stainless steel frets and luminescent side position inlays are used for durability and visibility.
The pickups are Bartolini BH2 pickups, which feature a well-balanced warm response with a tight bottom end and rich midrange.
