This is for an antique Victorian sterling silver bookmark from 1894. It is a nice large bookmark simple in design with the letter M on the top. The silver carries a full set of hallmarks dating to London 1894 along with the initials J.M.B for John Millward Banks. The silver is also advertising the luxury retailers Thornhill & Co of 144 New Bond Street, London. It is in excellent condition with surface wear only and it measures 155mm (6") long 25mm (1") across at the top.
