This is a sterling bishop’s pectoral cross bearing the traditional seal of Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Nashotah Wisconsin. It is approximately 4.25” high with bale and 3.25” inches wide (approximate). It has a 40” lobster clasped sterling chain. It was owned by the late Episcopal Bishop of Northern Indiana, The Rt. Rev. William Cockburn Russell Sheridan (1917-2005), who received his Master of Divinity degree from Nashotah House in the 1960’s. Cross and chain in excellent condition. An extremely rare, custom made cross, and a heavy well made piece.
