Awaiting your purchase is a coin silver teaspoon in long Fiddle pattern made around 1810 and bearing a half-struck circular maker's mark to the back of the stem that appears to be the grape and stake mark derived from the Connecticut State Seal used by Heydorn & Imlay of Hartford, Connecticut (see photographs and John R. McGrew, Manufacturers' Marks on American Coin Silver, page 125). This unusual spoon remains in fair antique condition with age-appropriate wear (see condition description) and bears no monogram. One for the collector.
