One first-day cover, with one 3c U.S. stamp commemorating the establishment of Washington Territory from Oregon Territory, March 2, 1853. 

Cancellations read "First Day of Issue" and "Olympia Wash. Mar 2 9-AM 1953". Cachet "Centenary of Organization of Washington Territory" has a brief introduction to the formation of the territory and Grand Coulee Dam along with illustrations of a thunder bird totem pole, covered wagons, and Grand Coulee Dam.

The FDC shows some yellowing with age and a few tiny light spots on the back of the envelope.
