This wild rooster pheasant skin was harvested by me, along with the help of my English Setter Jack, during the ‘23/‘24 pheasant Iowa pheasant season.

I am a licensed hunter from Iowa, and I can legally sell the skins/feathers of our harvest. The Ringneck Pheasant is legal for us to hunt and is not a protected species in any way. Not CITES protected.

I don’t typically skin out a full bird and leave the tail feathers on, but I did with this one for someone to display on their wall. Both wings are included, along with the all of the tail feathers, except the two middle ones, and beak.

This is a wild bird harvested in Iowa, and because of this, not all feathers may be included and may have small holes in skin. Beak and wings dried in this position. I removed the humerus wing bones. You will get the skin in the pictures, it’s beautiful. Late season bird, fully feathered.

Latin name/genus - species: Phasianus colchicus

Iridescent Feathers. Man cave. Wall hanging. Lodge Art.

Professionally skinned. Best pheasant skins. Dried with borax. Not washed. Non-smoking household. No odors.

Fast Shipping, same or next business day. USPS First Class Mail. I will gently fold the tail feathers under the body to ship. I’ll do my best to get the skin to you in the condition as shown in pictures.

You will get the skin as depicted in the pictures. This is a really nice fully-feathered late-season skin.
