Description: An interesting and attractive, original, antique, double-sided strip road map from the 1720 edition of John Owen & Emanuel Bowen's 'Britannia Depicta or Ogilby Improv'd'.

The sheet of hand-laid paper is printed on both sides. The copper-engraved strip maps (with accompanying information about the locations along the route and embellishments such as coats of arms) are pages 27 & 28 of 'Britannia Depicta'. They have significant detail of topography and place names, Settlements along the route include:
