AXE NOT INCLUDED

This is a handmade sheath for the Gransfors Bruk Small Forest Axe.  Made by myself in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada.  This sheath fits the axe perfectly and has no wiggle. 

Saddle stitched by hand with tough waxed thread.  All of my sheaths are built with a substantial welt built into the edge to protect the stitching from the axe blade. 

Bushcrafters and backwoods campers like the simplicity and ease of use of this design. The leather is thick and the stitching is robust, but the sheath can easily be pocketed when the axe is in use.

Made with 6-8oz Veg Tan leather, and hand dyed, beveled, burnished and stitched.  It has been treated with beeswax based leather conditioner, and is ready to face the harsh conditions of the backwoods.
