Bought new by myself in the early 90's and used very little. It has been stored unused for the last 18 years. The exterior is in superb condition with very little signs of wear or use, the interior is mint and as new. The catch and lock work perfectly. Unfortunately I have lost the detachable shoulder strap. There are a couple of small marks on the handle (see photos).
Designed and manufactured by Texier of Paris, it is made of thick leather throughout and features antique brass fittings. The main stress points are also riveted. The leather has a gorgeous patina and still smells as if it came off the cow yesterday! The flap features two false buckles which slot into their respective loops.
Inside are three main compartments with a fourth zipped compartment in the centre. There are two small compartments also and a couple of pen holders. On the rear outside is another zipped compartment.
External dimensions: 40cm x 32cm x 8cm (at rest). When expanded fully the document compartment depth increases to around 18cm.
Delivery: Although my stated shipping terms are 'Within Two Working Days' in real life I will almost always ship 'Next Day'. It will be packaged well and shipped 'Tracked 48', this protects us both if parcels decide to go walkabout. Whenever possible I will use recycled packaging from places like Amazon, etc.
