GENUINE 'SCOTTISH' LADIES
VINTAGE TARTAN WOOL KILT!
GOOD QUALITY pure new wool KILT made by 'KILTMAKERS (INVERNESS) LTD and purchased in SCOTLAND!
This kilt belonged to my Scottish aunt, who had it made. It is at least 40 years old and is still wearable and clean, but needs a little TLC (SEE BELOW) - HENCE PRICE!
I do not know the 'clan' name of the tartan but the colours are BLUE/YELLOW/GREEN/RED/BLACK/TURQUOISE and it has 2 BROWN LEATHER waist extenders/buckles at the sides.
It also has a KILT PIN which is SILVER in colour and is animal foot with claws with an AMBER coloured jewel stone.
NO INSIDE SIZE LABEL - NO EXACT SIZE - VERY ADJUSTABLE

LENGTH: Approx. 20 INCHES
HEM is a tad under 3 INCHES - enough hem to let the skirt down, if required.

ISSUES/DAMAGE/FAULTS: READ BEFORE PURCHASE!
1. There is a small hole at the rear - SHOWN IN LAST PIC!
Not noticeable when worn, as it is hidden in the pleats and does not show - could be easily repaired with a quick stitch!
2) The brown leather side-extenders show signs of age - the leather has cracked a little but they still do up and work fine.
3) The skirt is clean but would benefit from a professional dry-clean as this would press the rear pleating into shape.
