O.J. Simpson signed b/w glossy photo and USC team signed original Wilson brand USC football.

Provenance:

The photo and the ball were brought to Lasswade High School in Lasswade, Scotland in the 1985/86 session by an exchange US English teacher, who went to high school with O.J.

Simpson has hand-signed the photo "To the students at Lasswade High School - Good Luck - O.J. Simpson" in blue marker pen. The photo depicts O.J. playing for USC and breaking away for a winning touchdown against UCLA in a college match played on 18th November as part of the 1967 NCAA University Division football season.

The ball has been hand-signed by several USC team members - due to the surface of the ball being very brittle/cracked and the ink having considerably faded over time, it's hard to work out whether it has been signed by OJ's 1967 USC team or the current team from the year that the ball was brought over (1985/86). So we are just including this with the photo.

Also included with this is 2 x press photos of OJ dated to 15th May 1996, one having copyright stickers on reverse to Sport & Politics In Focus and the other having a copyright print on the reverse to Sportsphoto Agency.

Condition:

The photo has some light surface marks on the reverse, but this is otherwise in decent condition. Size is approx. 10"x8" inches.

The ball is deflated, with most of the surface material very brittle and having cracked and parts having worn with age, and the autographs having also faded over time

Please see photos for further reference - please note due to the shape of the ball, there is a difficulty in capturing all autographs on the ball, so please don't hesitate to ask for any further close-ups.

The press photos have some light surface marks, but overall in decent condition. Both measure approx. 8"X10".
