The Victor Book for Boys - The Commandos at St Nazaire

1964 Annual.

125 pages

Published late 1963 (these were usually ready for the previous year's Christmas, when many were bought as presents, i.e. in this case we're looking at available for sale at Christmas 1963 for a "1964" year annual).

A good copy of the VERY FIRST edition of "The Victor Book for Boys" annual, the 1964 edition, titled "The Commandos at St Nazaire".  Containing stories of some of the original Victor firm favourite characters, such as "The Tough of the Track", "Braddock", "Morgyn the Mighty" among others.

Condition:

The interior is in good/very good condition (see photos 2-10). The book is "unclipped", so the bottom corner of the first page is still in place (see photo 2). The spine is often a problem with these annuals, in this case it is totally sound and intact, but has some minor wear/damage at the very base and near the top (see photos 11-13). There is minimal colour fade of the original red (long term exposure to sunlight will cause this colour to fade significantly). Both covers are once again totally sound and intact, with some inevitable minor signs of age/wear/handling. Don't forget this is a 60 year old book!

Hopefully the photos adequately show its condition. They were taken just using natural sunlight on a dull overcast day, so they're not very bright, but there is nothing wrong with the colour quality of the book!

Combined postage cost savings will be applied as standard if appropriate/possible given size/weight considerations. If you buy more than one item from me kindly do not pay until I send a revised invoice with postage cost reductions. I usually do this within 24 hours of the auctions finishing, often quicker, so please be patient.
