Up for bid from an excellent Kansas City Missouri Estate is this Vintage Red Wing Irish Setter Boots Mens Size 12? Leather Moc Lace Vibram Sole! There is something to be said about vintage shoes, particularly leather, and how well-sought after they are; their quality diminishes much slower than modern shoes. Especially leather shoes have an admirable ability to withstand the test of time and use. There is a reason there's such a huge market for vintage shoes. As you can tell these shoes are used and pre-owned, but don't let that discourage you, there is plenty of life left in them. Bonus if you're knowledgeable of restoring leather; these need a proper wash/oil and one can assume they'll be back to life, although they're not as worn out as some other boots I'm listing. Based on the length of the sole, about 12 inches, my estimate is that these are a Men's size 12 and they seem to be of average width. Lots of scuffs on the leather itself, laces may need to be replaced. The sole is Vibram which is an amazing sole, they're heavy duty, thick, tough, and the tread is still great. The inside of the boot is in pretty good shape as well. Take a moment to really observe the condition these are in after all these years and how they still hold up - see photos for a more accurate description. It is in as found estate sale condition and I'll leave any light dusting and cleaning up to the new owner as we do not want to risk damaging the item.
