Sterling Silver Child's "My Little Darling" Thimble in Box

English * Circa 1940s

This little sterling silver thimble is still in its cardboard box with the label on top stating it's "My Little Darling's Thimble". The rim is marked "Sterling" and has the maker's mark for Perks, Pearce & Thompson, a jeweler in Birmingham. It was probably a baby gift.

The condition is excellent, crisp and in round with no wear, needling or other damage. There is a tiny hole in the rim and I've been told it's for a ring in case the child's mother wanted to wear it as a charm. It's about an American size 4 (12.5 mm diameter opening).

I stand behind everything that I offer and guarantee that it is exactly as presented.
