Shad Head Jigs are used many ways from fishing live bait to swim baits, grubs and plastics.  They are excellent jigs for Striper, Walleye, Bass, Crappie, Blue Gill and many saltwater fish. The painted models are powder coat painted giving them superior paint life and a high sheen and feature Eagle Claw Jig Hooks. 

Painted models feature Eyes that are a fantastic way to add fish attraction to the jig.  Fish Techniques Shad Head Hair Jigs are supplied in eight (8) different weights and are offered as standard in ten (10) standard colors.  We have other colors that can be supplied at no additional cost; Black Red, Bright Purple, Candy Sparkling Gold and Purple Red.  Should you like to see any of these colors, send me a note and I will send a photo.  When desiring colors other than our standard colors send us a note and we will provide a quote and deliveryo in the boat like competitor’s enamel painted models.

In 2020 Jerry and I went to the East Coast of North Carolina fishing the Roanoke River where the Striped Bass were making their spawning run and we used these jigs in the 1/2 Oz, Size, White color, tipped with a White Soft Rubber Body minnow.  We caught 117 Fish in two days fishing, It was non-stop action
