Here's an early 1916 WATERMAN FILIGREE SAFETY PEN, model  412-1/2VS imprint on the barrel base along with the nickname BABY. It  is an eyedropper filled  pen. The sterling filigree overlays a flawless black hard rubber cap and barrel. The overlay rings on both the  cap barrel are imprinted "STERLING." Condition of the overlays is flawless. At the base, below the overlay, is a 5 line imprint on the barrel which difficult to see, but reads, "WATERMAN'S, PAT. MAY 23, 1899, AUG 3, 1903, FOUNTAIN PEN N.Y., SAFETY PEN," and a "GLOBE" LOGO.  Nib is advanced and retracted by twisting the base. Nib  looks like a medium point, imprinted "WATERMAN IDEAL." Nib is probably a #2, but not visible. The tips are somewhat rough, evenly missing most of the iridium, but I believe this could be smoothed into a fairly good stub.
