Presented today we have a very unique and cool vintage Mulco Hit manual wind timepiece in stainless steel. This chunky and fun watch is powered by the Swiss AS 1951 manual wind movement. This movement has been completely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and is keeping excellent time. This movement is fitted securely and snuggly in the 39mm wide without the crown and 41mm hooded lug to hooded lug stainless steel case. This case features a screw down case back with the Mulco logoing and all additional texting clear and legible in a mirror polished finish. The case sides and half of the angular facets of the upper case area have a mirror polished finish. The surrounding four corner facets of the bezel seat have a radial brushed finish topped off with a fixed mirror polished bezel that holds the polished, case-specific acrylic crystal in tightly. This case has been fitted with its 18mm lugs to an all stainless steel Spiedel expansion beads of rice bracelet. This classic and like new bracelet provides a secure and comfortable fit for almost any wrist as well as adds a nice touch to an overall wonderful classic package. Underneath the crystal lies the star of the show. What I like to call the dark waters dial. Some have said it can also be a marble finish. I prefer my take on the aesthetics but either way it is unique, mesmerizing, and flowing. This rich design will draw you in and have you feeling that classic vintage era feel we all love. On this highly stylized dial we have the brand and model name Hit  as well as the jewel count in a white type and the dial is surrounded by raised golden polished block indices. The hands are a golden polished finish as well to match the indices. At the 3:00 position lies a golden framed date window with the date in black type on a white background. The date is set with a semi-quickset by advancing the hands to 12 midnight then back to 8 and forward again until the desired date is displayed. All in all you will be hard pressed to find a more stylish and unique case as this multifaceted angular steel work of art. This great timekeeper deserves its place in a great collection. Dont miss your opportunity to own this angular marvel today.

I've tried my best to highlight the condition of this piece with the description as well as photos under a variety of light sources but please read the description and browse the photos to determine for yourself if this is the right watch for you. As a disclaimer for anyone unfamiliar with vintage timepieces I feel the need to also point out that even if gaskets have been replaced that any vintage antique watch should avoid contact with water no matter what the case says. Water tightness cannot be guaranteed after so many years and this must be stated. Any questions feel free to ask. Payment must be made within 24 hours of end of auction and no international shipping.
