・Highly likely that Harima store and Hitsuya store were a money changer.

・Unlike the money changers of today, the money changers of the Edo period played the role of modern-day banks, and had amassed vast amounts of wealth.

・They (Both families) maintained close relationships with the shogunate and the clan; for example, the lord of the clan would visit their residence, and envoys from the shogunate would stay there for long periods of time.

・Both families were also employed as guarantors of the Tosa clan.

・Although these bills were issued as the Ichinono Village Bill, they were used as they were throughout the Tango region and even in the Tosa clan.
